Forum Grafika Digital (FGD) Expo 2009, held from 30th July – 2nd August at Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC), has 3 new icons: Publy (representing publication), Packy (packaging) and Printy (printing). We decided to focus on these 3 new kids on the block as our main characters in designing our contributing posters.
The theme is ‘Let’s go to FGD’, showing Publy, Packy and Printy do whatever it takes to be able to attend the expo. All are real location shooting, except for the scene where they jump from one car to another (if it has been a commercial work, I would of course prefer to do it for real; but that would add some cost, which we couldn’t afford 🙂 ). All were done only a few hundred metres from our studio. It was a quick shooting, as we almost lost the sunlight. We did it in less then half an hour, thanks to my fast-and-furious team, and also to the students who has helped a lot (I know it’s damn hot in the outfits).
